My advice to you is if you haven't done this type of work before get someone to do it for you especially if its a V8. The V8 is tricky even for someone that knows what they are doing.

Seriously - if you're confused with trying to figure out how many plugs there are, get some help - you really shouldn't be tinkering under the hood without some instruction.
ok if its a v-6 then it has 6 plugs if its a v8 then it has a 8. im pretty sure its not a 4 cyl.
probly 8,take the plastic engine cover off and follow the (should be bout a half inch diamiter black wires) that go to engine.
If your F150 has 6 wires going to the Distributor - it%26quot;s a 6 cylinder, and if it has 8, an 8 cylinder - so either you have 6 plugs or 8 plugs
being a f150 it probably either has a v6 or a v8 so a 6 would have 6 and a v8 would have 8.
