Will changing my spark plugs increase my car's performance?

Only if the plugs in your car now are in VERY bad shape (like with a hundred-thousand miles on them). If you are asking if replacing the good plugs in your car with more expensive %26quot;fancy%26quot; plugs will increase your car's performance, then the answer is no. The engine just needs a spark, it doesn't care what type of plug the spark comes from. Platinum plugs last longer, and deliver a slightly hotter spark, but that's all. Remember this; NO spark plug manufacturer has EVER been able to prove any amount of horsepower gain with their plugs. Despite what some people on the street may claim. Tell them to show you the test results on the internet at the manufacturer's website. They won't be there.
Will changing my spark plugs increase my car's performance?
only if you have a miss
Will changing my spark plugs increase my car's performance?
Can make it tick over smoother
yes they should do
it will ensure that you get a clean spark and therefore ignite the fuel properly but to get the full benifit you need to carry out a full service,

inspect the plugs check for burnt out electrodes get a haynes manual they show diagrams of healthy plugs to tell if your engine is healthy.
they can if there is a fault with the old plugs( worn, cracked, carbon built up, electrode missing, no plug gap at all.
Yes providing the gap is correct
oh yeah, you feel it if has been alot of miles since you changed em, also get the best ones, the ones with iridium in them or platinum at the least, more expensive, but they do work best.
changing the plugs alone wont.you would have to change the standard air filter to a pancake or induction type.also you can change the exhaust to a performance one. an oil and filter change will also help. the list of performance enhancements is endless, dictated only by your budget.
Not by a great deal depending on what ones you put in of course, normal plugs , nah, splitfires, triplesparks gives a bit more ooomph for your car.
No not really. It will give you a better spark in the combustion

chamber but won`t increase your cars performance.
new plugs always improve performance.
Yes it would no doubt, good plugs should be changed every 20.000 miles, it will improve your fuel consumption as well.
Changing spark plugs at service intervals will not improve performance. This only ensure the your car remains reliable.

On the other hand if you have a misfire or poor starting and it's the plugs that are defective then obviously the answer is yes.

My wifes 1.3 Corrola has had 2 sets of spark plugs in 96000 miles, I change them when there is a problem and not before.
