i think that it came from somewhere near the spark plug holes on the engine? what is it do i need and what does it do?

When i was changing the spark plugs on my 1997 ford E350 (triton V10 6.8L) i nocked loose an orange plug?
sounds like a fuel injector plug maybe.

if it has direct ignition ( a coil for every plug) it might have been the pig tail for the coil, and if I'm not mistaken the fuel injectors are next to the coil so it might have been that also.
