i have an 02 s10 4.3L and i tried to change the plugs but couldnt reach the damn boots. well i could get 1 of them, but the others are under so much stuff its nearly impossible. i know i gotta take a crap load of stuff out to get at them. but i still almost have to take the engine out. would it be worth while to get a dealership to do that or is it easier to do it myself

Try taking the tires off and reaching in through the wheel wells
if you remove the rubber flap in the wheel well you should be able to see and reach the wires and change the plugs.

jordan is right.. pul the front wheels off and you will find it much easier to get the plugs out
