How do you change spark plugs?

Just unscrew them and screw the new ones in?
How do you change spark plugs?
And just change one at a time so that there is no way to cross wire it.
How do you change spark plugs?
Remove the spark plug wire carefully so that the boot doesn't come off, use a 5/8%26quot; or 13/16%26quot; spark plug socket (magnetic or wobbly or double wobbly) and long extension and extra long 3/8%26quot; drive ratchet to remove the plug, brush anti-seize on the threads of the plug, use the socket and extension or a special tool (http://www.mactools.com/Product/tabid/12鈥?/a> or short vacuum hose) to start the spark plug installation, use the ratchet to tighten the plug, and replace the spark plug wire.

i haven't viewed 'em, so i will tell you some things that can go wrong.

you can break one off in the hole iffin' you don't get a proper angle with the ratchet/socket.

you can pull the boot off the wire if you don't do it right.

you can strip the threads going back in if you don't thread it right or if the threads on the head are not clean giving you a false angle when threading. or over torque them and strip the threads.

i spray the threads of the new plugs with WD-40 prior to install. Loctite庐 anti-seize product is also popular.

OMG. and Jared stated the #1 issue for the beginner. thanx Jared. this is what QA is all about.

i must be slippin'........
get a 5/8 spark plug socket, gap the plugs as specified by your owners manual, or you can call autozone or advance auto parts and they should know... unscrew your old ones, and BEFORE you screw the new ones in put anti-seize on the tread... if you dont you could potentially damage the cylinder heads..
word of advice. when working on your car and you dont know what to do it usually ends up being cheaper and easier to bring it in to a dealer.
