Those coil on plugs are quite pricey, so I don't think so!!!! Get your 1/4%26quot; drive ratchet with the appropriate extension and 9/32 or 7mm socket to remove all the COPs (coil-on-plugs). Have fun with the one under the fuel supply and return line fittings on the fuel rail. If you have rear heat and A/C you'll need to work carefully around the heater hoses, so use caution!!! Once you do remove all COPs it's pretty straight forward to remove the plugs. Pay particular attention to cylinder #4 COP (the rear most one on the passenger side of engine). That particular COP was known to have coolant leaking on top from the heater hose to intake manifold connection. You might want to tighten up the clamp while you're %26quot;in there%26quot;. If the COP is coolant stained, replace it. Also check the COP boots for cracks or wear, and replace as necessary. It is STRONGLY recommended you use Ford/Motorcraft parts unless you want to do this job again. Hope this helps.

ford says go 100,000 miles beetween changes i also believe you change coil packs and all
those trucks are ugly and a mother to work on.

that coil on plug sounds like a pain in the *** too. coil pack ignition i have on my car that works pretty good. no distributor either

check out all the other stuff like the o2 sensor, egr, maf, keep the engine running clean as you can you won't have any trouble with the plugs.
