Is it easy to change spark plugs and wires in a car?

It's a 2000 Chevy Cavalier...4 cyl. My boyfriend said it's simple, but he's a mechanic lol (he lives 2 hours away or I'd have him do it). But is it simple?

It's pretty simple if you know what you're doing, and you sure have to watch where those wires come from or you'll end up having no power at all haha.

Its rather simple, the most complicated part is remembering where the wires got hooked up and in the same place where they were taken out...if they aren't hooked up right then it won't run right...if at all. And as far as the plugs go...you just stick them in the holes where the old ones were. I'd do mine myself but I have a boyfriend thats also a diesel mechanic so I don't have to. lol
If you dont mind paying a little, i think less than or right around 100 dollars, Autozone will do it for you when you buy the plugs and wires. If you have the tools, know how, and a hire patience level than i do, yes its simple. also the plug spacing is very important.
It is really simple to change the wires and the plugs! Just check the firing order (1-3-4-2) in some cars. The first plug is the one that is near the radiator fan. Make sure you have a spark plug wrench with you to be able to do it.
some cars are easy...I dont know yours..but last grand prix I did was a pain in the *** to get the last plug under the cowl (by the windshild) I wouldnt ask my GF to do it, I'd tell her to wait til I got there its only 2 hours hint hint
It's very easy on that car, you need a ratchet, an extension, and a 5/8%26quot; socket. Should take all of 5 minutes. Make sure you use delco plugs also.
start at the back and, change one wire and, one plug at a time as, the wires, are different lengths.
its simple/ just take a picture during each step to insure that you can put things back the way they were. Your boyfriend could probably guide you from the phone
Very easy, just make sure to plug the wires back in the right order.
Yeah, should be pretty simple with it being a 4 cylinder and all. Some vehicles are a pain, but yours is not bad.
remove one spark plug at a time, that way you won't get it mix up. congrad to you wanting to do it yourself!
