The spark plugs are on the cylinder head in plain view. I'd say you have no clue what you're doing and if you can't find the plugs, you won't know how to gap them or diagnose any other concerns that might be present. I'd go to a trust worthy mechanic and have the work done. While there have them check the rest of the vehicle over.

Plugs are usually found at the top of the engine or stuck in to wall in the House/kitchen/ bedroom etc.

Car ones have cables going to them which is a good thing to look for.

If there are covers over every thing concealing the cables plugs etc., buy a makers hand book, it's probably cheaper that a garage bill.

The other thing that you might need to refer to is it a diesel engine?

Do you feed it petrol or diesel?

Diesel engines don't have spake plugs.

let us know how you get on.
When did the 4.0 become a v6 ? It`s always been an in line 6 , If you can`t find the spark plug wires and find the plug end , you will not be capable of figuring out what socket to use to remove the plugs. Blow the $20 on a repair manual, you will be needing it with this vehicle.
just trace the plug wires from the distributor to the plugs. they might be under the manifold instead of above it.
